The Tenor incorporates the bright treble sounds with the baritone richness of larger bodied guitars while using the traditional 4 strings enjoyed by both banjo and guitar musicians. Use standard top four string guitar tuning or a favored banjo style tuning. The versatility of this instrument shines as an addition to song circles or as a solo for both flatpicking, strumming and clawhammer styles. The solid wood construction and attention to detail is making this one of our most popular models. The Tenor is constructed with a Sitka Spruce top, a choice of Indian Rosewood or Mahogany sides, Mahogany block Dovetail neck joint, X-bracing, solid square taper headstock and your choice of fingerboard material, end pins and tuners. This model comes with a 12” bout, 16” length body and a 12-fret (19) neck.
